About Rekise Marine
Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in challenging and contested environments. We are executing India’s flagship autonomous submarine project, the Jalkapi XLAUV, for the Indian Navy, an unmanned submarine of 20+ tonnes designed to travel long ranges autonomously and operate at sea for extended periods.
Our autonomy stack powers a range of platforms unmanned submersibles and surface vessels, across missions from the coastal waters to the deep sea. We are creating some of the largest autonomous platforms in the world, with direct impact on national security. While autonomous cars in India may still be a dream, autonomous ships and submarines are already a reality and we are building them for the world, from India.
The Role
We are looking for a Program Management Intern to support the ground-level execution of programme management across our vessel programmes, information, coordination, and verification so the Programme Management Office (PMO) can stay focused on planning, analysis, and decisions. You will work directly with programme managers across live vessel programmes, on the shop floor and at trial sites.
A day in the role:you might be on the assembly floor at 9am confirming a part has arrived, chasing a missing input by noon, and helping set up a trial site by evening. This is an office-cum- field-facing role, a lot of work happens on the shop floor and at trial sites.
Key Responsibilities
-
Collect, verify and update programme data across trackers, registers and action logs, escalating missing inputs rather than letting them go silently absent.
-
Act as the communication link on the ground: relay blockers upward to the PMO the day they arise, and verify on the floor that work being executed matches the plan.
-
Support the coordination of trial and event days, logistics, setup, and tracking.
-
Carry out physical verification on request: confirming material arrivals, checking stock against records, and documenting setups.
-
Support the PMO with information-gathering for reviews and planning.
Required Qualifications
-
Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience; engineering or a related discipline preferred.
-
Strong follow-through - the ability to chase open items to closure without being reminded.
-
Clear, structured written communication- able to turn a messy verbal update into a short, factual message.
-
Comfort with a field-facing role involving travel to trial sites (e.g. Goa).
Preferred Experience
-
Internship, project or campus experience involving coordination across teams — events, technical fests, student projects, or similar.
-
Exposure to hardware, manufacturing or systems-engineering environments.
-
Familiarity with basic programme-management concepts.
